Nella filosofia socratica il dialogo è uno strumento che tramite uno scambio tra gli interlocutori mira alla correzione di un errore iniziale, per giungere a una verità condivisa.
'Gli Alberi Non Vogliono' prosegue il percorso di ricerca basato sul mio personale rapporto con field recordings e strumenti portatili, da viaggio.
Dopo 'Re Dei Re Minore' (album registrato on the road lontano dalle zone comfort di ogni musicista, i cui suoni sono stati costruiti da zero elaborando registrazioni d’ambiente e rumori rubati) invece di tornare indietro verso mezzi più sicuri ho scelto di spingermi più al largo.

Concepito come un EP nonostante la durata, 'Gli Alberi Non Vogliono' è composto di quattro sessioni registrate in luoghi diversi, live senza una vera post produzione.
Quattro frangenti in cui ho processato le voci dell’ambiente circostante sul momento, come se le stessi traducendo, rispondendo poi con i miei strumenti come in un vero dialogo.
Una discussione, uno scambio di confidenze alla pari tra spazio e persona, luogo e visitatore indesiderato.
